Martin Creed not only makes visual art and turns ready made objects into art, but he also makes music! If you could have a theme song for your life what would it be? You could visually show us the feel of the music you imagine, or by making the music itself. What is your theme song?

It’s me, but I’m also You, just younger and less tired

How are you feeling? I hope you’re doing well, 

Please say you’re doing well, that would be a big ego boost for me, because that means I made good, smart decisions. 

I have something to tell you that you probably need to be reminded of amidst all the crazy, busy, stressful life you may be experiencing.

Ease up, man

Take things one day at a time, and worry about the things you can fix, not the things that are out of your control

I’ve tried to be in control of everything all the time, but as you know, that didn’t work, and instead took a mental, physical, and emotional toll on me, well, on us.

“Man plans and God laughs” they say. Sometimes it’s okay to not have everything figured out, as long as you make calculated wise decisions when need be.

Ease up, Mike, because if you don’t touch the stars today, there is always tomorrow, but even if there is no tomorrow, knowing you, I am confident that you reached as high as you possibly could.
