What will you always remember ?
Warm fluffy rice with fresh baked beans on the side. Grilled chicken with a fresh cup of juice. The rice is cooked with salt and butter and just enough water so that it’s not too hard or too mushy. For the beans we need dried red kidney beans, canola oil, chopped yellow onion, chopped red bell pepper, chopped garlic cloves, ground cumin and salt. The chicken has always been a favorite and hardest to let go of when trying to become vegetarian, here are the ingredients that make it so hard to let go. For the chicken first we need sliced chicken pieces , in order to cook it we need lemon juice, olive oil, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, onion, adobo, green bell peppers, and red bell peppers . This is a dish my grandmother used to cook for me and a beautiful memory in my mind. Visiting my grandmother during summer break and having the freedom to play all day , after a long day of playing with dolls and running around outside I sit down at the dining table and smell the fresh food being served.
